Vaccinations are important to be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats. Vaccinating your pets annually helps lessen the spread of infectious diseases throughout pet populations. Some vaccinations don’t just protect your pet, but they can protect you too.

Core vaccinations for dogs:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • Parvovirus
  • Parainfluenza
  • Adenovirus

**The core vaccinations are recommended by all veterinarians to best protect dogs.

Additional vaccinations for dogs include:

  • Lyme
  • Leptospirosis
  • Bordetella
  • Influenza

**Vaccinations are based on region you live in and travel to. Not all of the additional vaccinations will be recommended for your dog.

Core vaccinations for cats:

  • Rabies
  • Herpesvirus 1
  • Calicivirus
  • Panleukopenia

*The core vaccinations are recommended by all veterinarians to best protect cats.

In addition to the core vaccinations for your cat, be sure to talk with your veterinarian about the Feline Leukemia vaccine.
